"Fear is the passion of slaves." – Patrick Henry
As we get ready to celebrate our nation’s 235th birthday this coming Monday by shoving cheeseburgers into our faces, guzzling beer, and generally patting ourselves on the back for being so absolutely wonderful and amazing, I’d like to ask you something. What exactly is it you think you are celebrating? Are you celebrating the numerous illegal wars being waged for the Zionists in the so-called “war on terror?” Are you celebrating the fact that an ailing 95 year old woman is no longer allowed to travel without first being humiliated by your tyrannical and out of control “security” agencies? Or, are you celebrating the fact that your freedom loving government has no problem with the false Israel attacking Americans trying to provide much needed aid to those not fortunate enough to have simple medicines and equipment that we take for granted?
How far we have fallen from what the vision of our forefathers was for all of us. They must be spinning in their graves seeing what we have allowed their vision to become: a warmongering puppet nation for the Zionists and moneychangers. How many have read the Declaration Of Independence and truly understand what it means? We threw off the chains of dictators just to allow ourselves to become enslaved once again, and yet people sit around patting themselves on the back, glorifying the murder of innocents, calling those who speak the truth the “lunatic fringe” and unpatriotic traitors. You fools.
“For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it.” – Patrick Henry
How far we have fallen from statements like the above. The truth is ridiculed and the lies of the slave masters are embraced in a go along to get along attitude. Would this country exist today if this was the attitude of that time? Would it exist today if our forefathers allowed themselves to worship mammon instead of liberty for each of their fellow men? Yet as you sit there celebrating how truly wonderful your “freedom” is, you hypocritically allow those very freedoms you celebrate be taken from you, your family, and your neighbors, all while patting yourselves on the back.
You just don’t get it, do you? Unless we are absolutely vigilant and are prepared to give everything to protect our freedoms, we cannot have what it is you congratulate yourselves for on this upcoming holiday. I honestly don’t think your average sheep has any idea what this holiday is supposed to represent other than gorging themselves on potato salad. They lack the conviction of their fathers and have become swollen on the scraps thrown from their master’s table. Maybe it is the inability to look beyond their own little world and their selfish wants. Maybe a little history lesson is in desperate need, but who is to say they would even care?
What is the definition of independence?
The state or quality of being independent; freedom from dependence; exemption from reliance on, or control by, others; self-subsistence or maintenance; direction of one's own affairs without interference.
Exemption from reliance on, or control by, others, there’s a thought.
What about liberty?
The state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political views; the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved.
Yet, oppressive restrictions are being carried out by your government on a consistent basis. Just ask those whom this government has no authority over in Guantanamo, or you, the income taxpayer, being forced to pay you hard earned money because of an amendment that was never legally ratified, or those being thrown in jail harming no one in the smoking of a joint. There are countless others if one really wants to research the subject, but that is up to you if you truly want to learn and do something about it.
This brings us to the quote I chose to start off with:
“Fear is the passion of slaves.” – Patrick Henry
Is fear of losing what you have really more important to you than the welfare of your children’s future? Are you so selfish that you are willing to allow their freedoms to suffer because you are afraid to speak up or you have the go along to get along attitude? I wonder though if it is fear or indifference that drives this. For myself, it’s not if I don’t have anything to hide, I have nothing to fear. It’s I have done nothing wrong, you have no evidence proving otherwise, so go to hell until you do. I am guaranteed that right, not only by the famous “goddamned piece of paper,” but by something higher than man. So are you, if you just get the balls to stand up and take it.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for celebrating when there is something to celebrate. At this moment, I find it to be a farce because we are a far cry from what should have been. People don’t take this opportunity to learn and uphold what is right and just in this world, nor do they want to learn what this holiday is really all about. It’s a glorification of hypocrisy in every sense. I just hope it’s not too far gone to be able to get it back.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!” – Samuel Adams
